And...2.1.1 →
This update contains two fixes: one that reverts the header styles to almost exactly what they were before to accomodate pesky Macs and their pesky Palatino (see monologue discussion here), and one that makes photosets show up again (see where I made exactly the same mistake here).
2.1.1 should show up in the theme garden soon.

Updates! Pages, Tags, and HTML5!
I humbly introduce the newest version of Light City, which finally adds support for things people have been asking for for months. Building on the code changes introduced in 2.0, 2.1 adds support for pages, which are now listed in the footer, and tags, which are now itemized below posts. It’ll now also link to /ask and /submit for you, if you’ve got them enabled, and your archive and...

Light City 2.0.1 →
Light City 2.0 is a near-total rewrite in order to clean up the code and
take advantage of a few HTML5 features.
It adds almost nothing new (the exception being styling of answer posts)
and might even break things that I’ve missed in testing. It will not
be submitted to the theme garden; 2.1, which will be complete within the
next few days and will actually add things, will be.
alloy-d asked: Light City's been around almost forever. You've had plenty of time to add support for questions.

Fixes the header alignment bug on Macs (finally), though not beautifully.
Fixes the jarring visual difference in line height between link post names and post titles.
I've made some changes!
I’ve been noticing things about this theme ranging from the not-so-perfect to the terribly wrong, so I’ve fixed them! (I’ve actually been making subtle changes for a while now; I itemized the last major set here, on my main tumblelog, where I usually ramble about these things.)
To read my commit history since then, I’ve made the following changes:
Fixed the display of...

I made another Tumblr theme!
And you’re looking at it.
Its aim is to be as described: a simple, beautiful theme. Its few colors are customizable, and it supports custom CSS. No effort is made to include anything social—notes, followed blogs, comments—but you’re welcome to grab the latest version from my GitHub and use and modify it as you like!

Wikipedia’s article on Albany, the capital of New York state in the U.S. I’ve driven past (and through) the city a few times, and it reminds me of the feeling that inspired this design.
Hi there!
Hello again! I’m making another theme.
This one should take very little time and be much simpler than my last ones. This will be my testing blog while I make it.
